library day
Monday, July 25, 2005
went to the town library just now and got
my books for the week:
Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris
Cat's Eyewitness by Rita Mae BrownAnother in a long list of her Sneaky Pie Brown mystery series. I don't particularly care for mysteries, nor cats who write books, but hell...it's Rita Mae. So what is she's crazier than a calico.
Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl (with little stars as the dot's over the i's) I love Reichl's books. Tender at the Bone was fabulous. Comfort Me with Apples was delicious. (get it? apples... delicious... nevermind)
Appaloosa by Robert B. ParkerAnother western by Parker. I don't care if it's the same story over and over again. Some people have their Danielle Steele...I have my Robert B. Parker.
Little Earthquakes by Jennifer WeinerMs. Weiner also wrote Good in Bed and In Her Shoes. Chick Lit at it's finest...more or less.
Garden Problem Solver by Pippa Greenwood
Golf Annika's Way by Annika Sorenstamalso picked up on dvd:
Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
and
50 First Dates
