nothing fills the broken heart
like shopping.
(well, whisky works too)
but at least at 10am on a sunday
shopping is a socially acceptable pastime
whereas the whiskey probably needs to wait a couple of hours
it's hard to go into Coach and realize
toemas doesn't need a new red leather collar and lead
even if it is on clearance

It's not always fun to be a grown up. Hard decisions hurt. But the right decision in the long run hurts less. In the meantime, bourbon. L.
