every Thanksgiving I try to remember
all the other Thanksgiving's I've enjoyed
and the people I've shared them with...

from... my parents who didn't like turkey...or me for that matter
...to piling into a rented car freshman year and going down
to Allentown with Jason, Stephanie, Renee & Natalie
freezing in the attic, and not putting oil in the car
and walking on the PA Turnpike after the car died
...to college orphans' t-day with everybody
who didn't travel home for the holiday
(and the *scream* blessing from betsy)
...to Thanksgiving with Michela Larson
so THAT's how turkey supposed to taste
...to fried turkey with Sally at Janice & Bud's
...to a braised duck with Gina, Henri and Toemas
in the house in NH, roaring fire and 65 degree weather

to all the wonderful friends who have become my family
i thank you for being in my life

it was touch and go there for awhile there, eh
