found a single malt pot still
speyside scotch,
Prime Malt - Reverence
distilled at Macallan in 1968
(a terrible year for wine & political leaders
but a fine year to be born an aquarian)
anyhoo. this scotch was
aged in oak casks for 30 years
yet it's extremely mellow
i got a nose of honey, aged grass or old haystacks,
and a hint of green rind..perhaps green cantaloupe?
it was velvet on the palate
and the finish was a bit smoky, like the smell of burning hay
and a hint of rind.
we'll be opening this bottle saturday night
at the scotch club
stay tuned.
