spent part of yesterday in the south end
checking out the new digs of friends.
fantastic place.
can't wait for it to be finished.

but even that was not the best part..

the best part was they brought me back a bottle of
Charbay bourbon.
HOLY COWS!!!
we opened it right there
and each had a wee dram.
i've never tasted anything like this.
it was warm and honeyed, with apricots in the mouth
but without being floral (which i do not like)
went down like velvet

we all just sat and stared at each other.
thunderstruck.
it was that good.
i have bottle 42 of 840
and i'll be getting my hands on as many bottles as i can afford

wonder how much my car is worth these days?
